While industry in general have the propensity to organise their CSR initiatives around visits to old age homes, participate in green campaigns, or impart computer training to the under-privileged, we at Milagrow have chosen a different way. Every month, on a day dedicated to CSR, we choose to water a few saplings. Today was one such day. We choose to call this gardening initiative as Venture Doctors. Read on why.
Micro, Small and Medium Businesses have their own peculiar set of problems. This includes identifying their possible bottlenecks to growth, technology adoption choice or cultural issues, or, plain A vs B action choice. Most often, businesses find it difficult to define their problems. We devote our CSR day to help a pre-qualified set of Micro, Small and Medium businesses discusses the issues confronting their growth and help them arrive at further pointers. It is something that we do out of our corporate joy, since there is no commercial arrangement in this. In other words, SMBs that register to participate in Venture Doctors do not have to make any payment, unless they wish to engage a 'Doctor' for extra time.
