Milagrow as Mentoring Partner at Prayaas, IIT-Bombay, Techfest 2009

 

Milagrow was the Mentoring Partner for the Prayaas Event at IIT-Bombay's Techfest 2009. Prayaas was an event to encourage entrepreneurship in the field of energy and bio-sciences. The teams had been handed out specific problem statements in each of these fields and they were expected to present product prototypes that will effectively solve the problem. While Professors from the IIT-Bombay played the role of mentors from a technical point of view, Milagrow played the role of management mentors. We advised the fledgling product teams on how to adapt their product to the end market. A number of teams had constrained their designs based on the availability of resources at present. While the design can be constrained the thinking must not be. We were able to advise some of the teams on how to focus their product on the needs of the potential customers.
