Dr Murthy's Lecture at NIFT

Dr Murthy gave a lecture on 'Fashion & Social Responsibility' on 1st August at the Inauguration of the Class of 2008 of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Hyderabad. About 125 students and some faculty attended and the lecture was mutually enjoyable. What was interesting was that the topic which was initially considered as something that had to be endured, ended up suddenly opening their eyes and collective consciousness towards the importance of being socially responsible in a highly fractured world, in both social as well as business sense. It became quite interactive and enlightening on several issues pertinent to the fashion industry.
