India is a nation of small businesses. Employing 70% of India’s workforce and accounting for 95% of India’s industrial units, the output of MSMEs has always recorded a higher growth rate than the growth rate of the national GDP. India cannot hope to sustain its growth story without making it socially inclusive. India needs to enable the MSMEs to become stronger. Now the Government also seems to be realizing this through its various initiatives.
